
The Marion County Board of Supervisors will consider an appointment of an acting Economic Development Director at their meeting on Tuesday.
This comes after the recent retirement of former director Carla Eysink. In new business the board will also hold a public hearing and take possible action on two zoning map amendment ordinances, consider a resolution for the final plat of the Sunset Acres subdivision, adoption of new load limits on certain bridges in the county, and consider a resurfacing contract from Norris Asphalt.
The board will also look to award a contract for the Wabash Railroad Bridge demolition, consider a compensation study request, discuss an audit service agreement, and the meeting will close with the board discussing the Knoxville VA Campus. Tuesday’s Marion County Board of Supervisors meeting will start at 9:00 am at 3014 E Main St. in Knoxville.
