Three PCM athletic teams were in action on Monday.

The PCM boys and girls track and field teams competed at the Pella Coed meet. No team scores were kept as the Mustangs computed against five other schools. Top finishers for the Mustang boys include Riley Graber placing second in the 200 meter, Alex Wendt taking second in the shot put, Gavin Steenhoek finishing third in the 400 hurdles, Gavin Van Gorp placing third in the long jump, and the distance medley, 4X200 meter relay, and shuttle hurdle relay teams finishing third.

Top finishers for the Mustang girls include the distance medley placing first, the 4X200 meter relay and shuttle hurdle relay taking third, Lexi Fagg placing third and Katelynn Fagg placing forth in the long jump with Lexi placing fourth and Katelynn placing fifth in the 400 meter , Paiten Rumbaugh finishing third in the 800 meter, and Annie Ford finishing fourth in the 3000 meter. The PCM boys and girls track and field teams will be back in action on Thursday for their state qualifier meet at home.

The PCM soccer team fell at home Monday night to Boone 5-0. The Mustangs fall to 3-9-1 on the season and will next compete on Thursday at Albia for their last regular season match.
