
The Pleasantville boys track and field team won their home meet on Monday night while the girls team finished fifth.
The Trojans competed in their first and only home meet of the season with the boys scoring 159 team points and the girls scoring 83 against a field of eight other schools. Top finishers for the Pleasantville boys include Ethan King winning the 100 meter with Dylan Messamaker finishing second, Blake Rowson winning the 400 meter, Kurt Kuhnen winning the 800, William Mesecher winning the discus, Braylon Bingham taking first in the high jump, and the 4X100, 4X200, and 4X400 meter relays all placing first.
Top finishers for the Trojan girls include the 4X100 meter relay, shuttle hurdle relay, and 4X400 meter relay teams placing first, Kally Wysong taking second in the long jump, Lauren Furnal placing second in the 100 hurdles with Alyssa Park taking third, and Maci Martin finishing fourth in the shot put.
