The Simpson softball team will travel to Winona, Minnesota for their NCAA Regional Competition beginning Thursday, with St. Mary’s hosting a site of four teams. The Storm will start their posteason journey as the #2 team in the bracket facing off against DePauw, who went 24-13 on the season. Simpson ended the regular season with a 31-7 record but a disappointing loss in the American Rivers Conference semifinals to rival Central. Head coach Brent Matthias said every team is now 0-0 on the season, and the Storm will have to play their best in order to continue achieving their goals.
