The Indianola School Board approved the bids for the Baseball/Softball Fields Improvement Project at their meeting Monday, accepting a bid from DDVI for over $2.65 million. Superintendent Tara Paul tells KNIA News the project was spurred on by a very generous donation of $1 million.
“DDVI, which is an Indianola company, came in with the lowest bid with approximately $2.7 million, $1 million is being funded from a private source, so the district funds will be about $1.7 million in there.”
