The Pella Christian boys and girls track and field athletes will compete for their spot at State tonight, running at the Class 2A State Qualifying Meet at PCM.
The Eagle girls are once again strong contenders for the Team State Title next week, and have nine events that currently rank in the top two spots among teams in attendance. Additionally, the Pella Christian girls have five events that are in the top five spots at the meet. The Eagle boys hold a top two spot in three events entering the meet at PCM, with another eight events that sit in a top five spot. The top two finishers from each race automatically earn a trip to State, while eight at large bids will be awarded for all events based on times or distances compared across the state. (please note athletes can compete in a maximum of four events, and may not end up qualifying in the races below)

The 2025 state qualifying meet at PCM High School tonight begins at 4 pm with field events and 4:45 pm with running events.
