
The Pleasantville boys golf team finished third at their Class 2A sectional meet hosted by Clarinda on Wednesday and have advanced to districts.
The Trojans finished with a team score of 314 in the 18-hole event competing against seven other schools at Clarinda Country Club. Pleasantville finished just three strokes behind Earlham who finished second. The top individual score for the Trojans was Lukas Klootwyk who shot a 76 to finish fifth overall. Pleasantville will now head to Carroll on Monday for their district meet with a trip to state on the line.
