Knoxville’s emergency agencies responded to a house fire this morning. Knoxville Fire and Rescue, Knoxville Township, and Knoxville Police made their way to 713 West Main Street for a residential structure fire just before 9 a.m.
According to Knoxville Police Chief Aaron Fuller, “a neighbor called the fire in this morning because they heard glass shatter and saw the fire. The fire is under investigation by the Marion County Sheriffs Office due to suspicious circumstances and arson investigator Reed Kious is on scene. The residents were evicted recently and the power was turned back on this morning a few hours before the fire happened by the city with nobody living in the home. Internal damage is unknown.”
