The Knoxville Farmers Market will kick off their 2025 season today.

The market is held on Saturday mornings from 8:00 am – Noon on the Knoxville square and is filled with a variety of vendors selling fresh locally grown produce, flowers, baked goods, canned goods, homemade crafts, and more. The market reached a milestone this year by filling every vendor spot. As a result, a pause on new vendor sign up has been put in place, but the market is looking at ways to expand to accommodate more vendors.

The Knoxville Farmers Market also includes live music from a variety of artists, along with different theme days and activities for kids. The first market today will include a scavenger hunt. All produce sold at the market has to be grown within 25 miles of Knoxville to further encourage the incentive of locally grown. Knoxville Farmers Market Director Denay Marsh encourages everyone to come out to the weekly event to support local vendors and be a part of the community.

“It’s really fun and we love to see big crowds. Even if you don’t buy anything and of course we want you to, it’s fun to see the big crowds of people there and have it be a community event. I would just love to see more of that and say hi to more people from Knoxville.”

The Knoxville Farmers Market runs through mid-September.
