
The Pleasantville boys golf team will compete in their Class 2A District meet at Carroll National Golf Club Monday as the baseball team will open their season on the road at Gilbert.
The Trojan boys golf team will compete against 13 other schools with a trip to the state meet on the line. Pleasantville is coming off a third place finish at their sectional meet in Clarinda Wednesday where they shot 314 as a team. Monday’s meet in Carroll starts at 10:00 am.
The Pleasantville baseball team will travel to Gilbert to open their 2025 season. Pleasantville will be under the direction of new head coach Luke Adreon after the resignation of longtime head coach Sheldon Card after last season. The Trojans are bringing back a majority of their team from last year who went 23-11 overall and made it to the state tournament. Pleasantville and Gilbert have only played once in the Bound era where Gilbert picked up the 5-1 win in 2010. Monday’s game starts at 7:00 pm.
