The Knoxville Sports schedule got a little busier than originally thought due to the rain and storms that moved through the area yesterday. The girls soccer match scheduled for Monday has now been rescheduled to tonight at 5:30 against Chariton at Reynolds Field. That was a 1st round class 1A regional. Girls tennis will head to Waterloo at Byrnes Park to face Boone in the class 1A team regionals. The Panthers took down Saydel in the 1st round last week and look to move a step closer to their first ever state meet in team history. Last night’s scheduled baseball season opener was rained out. The season opener will now be Wednesday when the Panthers host Ballard on Panther Drive.
