
The Pleasantville baseball team won their season opener at home against Albia Tuesday in the debut of new head coach Luke Adreon.
The Trojans picked up the 7-1 win over the Blue Demons after their originally planned season opener against Gilbert Monday night was suspended in the second inning due to weather. Caylor Jones picked up the win on the mound for Pleasantville, throwing five innings giving up one run and one hit. Brayden Kennedy, Braylon Bigham, and Brody Adreon all had two hit nights for the Trojans while Easton Cox hit a three run home run and recorded four RBI. The Pleasantville baseball team starts their 2025 season 1-0 and will face Grand View Christian at home tonight.
