The PCM soccer team defeated Panorama 9-2 in their opening match of Class 1A Substate play Tuesday.

The Mustangs picked up six goals from sophomore Jaxson Strait in the match and also saw goals from Ryker Clark, Dylan Beyer, and Dominic Witt. PCM now advances to the substate semifinals where they will have a tough test ahead as they will face West Central Valley on the road Tuesday who is 14-0-1 on the season. The Mustangs improve to 5-9-1 overall.
