The Pleasantville baseball team defeated Grand View Christian Wednesday night as starting pitcher Brayden Kennedy recorded 12 strikeouts.

The Trojans defeated the Thunder 4-2 in the second game of the season. Kennedy, the sophomore, pitched five innings giving up two runs on five hits and Easton Cox came in to get the two inning save. Braylon Bingham, JJ Phillips, and Easton Cox all had two hit nights for Pleasantville. The Trojan baseball team improves to 2-0 on the season and will be back in action on Tuesday against Des Moines Christian.
