Knoxville’s Caelie Smith qualified for the class 3A State Girls Golf Meet after she finished 3rd on Wednesday firing an 80. Smith becomes the first girls golfer from Knoxville to qualify for State since Amy Sullivan in 2021. As a team Knoxville finished 7th firing a 419. Smith will advance to play at the Saddleback Ridge Course in Solon next Thursday and Friday.
