
The Pella Public Library’s Outdoor Adventure Series is returning this summer, and the library has announced the individuals that will be presenting at each event.
Hank Kohler will kick off the series by presenting his book “One4Water: Paddling to Polar Bears and Alligators from the Same Starting Point Forty Two Years Apart”. During the event on June 4th, Kohler will share his experiences paddling the Mississippi River. Natalie Ogbourne will join the library on June 17th to present “Waking Up in the Wilderness: A Yellowstone Journey”, while Jackie Kilby and Hazel Bogaard will present “Hiking the Dingle Way in Ireland” on July 9th. The Outdoor Adventure Series will continue on July 23rd, with Paul Weihe presenting “Exploring 99 Wetlands in 99 Iowa Counties”, before wrapping up on August 13th with Sophie Mathonnet-VanderWell presenting “Walking the Robert Louis Stevenson Trail in France”.
