The awards continued to roll in for the Storm 1-2 hitters as Megan Heidelbauer and Ashlyn Steen were named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region team.
The duo were recently both named to the A-R-C all-conference first team, and continued that trend, earning first team All-Region honors. The award marks the second straight season for the pair with first team All-Region selections.

The awards honor student-athletes from the Association’s 10 regions with selection to one of three teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region. All honorees move forward to be considered for selection for the three NFCA Division III All-America squads, which will be announced Wednesday, May 28.
