Jasper County Emergency Management Agency Director Jamey Robinson has publicly commended the Jasper County Board of Supervisors for their support of Emergency Medical Services across Jasper County. Robinson spoke to the supervisors at this week’s board of supervisors meeting.

“I think the Board of Supervisors here in Jasper County have done a phenomenal job of supporting our local EMS services with the money you have given us to start working on some of this affiliation stuff, and building the EMS System in Jasper County.”

Robinson notes the Supervisors provided funding so EMS departments across the county could begin to work together and follow the same procedures and protocols. They also supplied funding for the Advanced Life Support Services that are now provided across the county through the County Sheriff’s Department. The Jasper County Board of Supervisors also approved a proclamation declaring this week as National Emergency Medical Services Week.
