The Knoxville Public Library is holding a “Free for All” film viewing and panel discussion event on June 5th.
Attendees of this event will view the hour long film about public libraries and then there will be a discussion regarding the film with a panel consisting of library Director Ashley Miller, Adult Services Librarian Cari Meissner, and Board President Lindsay Carlson while KNIA/KRLS Knoxville News Director Clayton Sampson moderates. The event will also consist of a Q&A session. Meissner hopes everyone can come to this event and learn what an important resource libraries are in our local communities.
“I would love for people to just understand what the library does in the community, what the library can do for each person individually, who we are, and how we can help, and how we can work together in our community to just make everything a little bit better, a little bit brighter, and a little bit more together.”
This event is free and will be held at 6:00 pm with refreshments provided.
