The American Legion Post 165 held a service at the IOOF Cemetery Monday morning, to honor and recognize American Soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice in serving in the nation’s military.
The ceremony involved raising the American Flag and the playing of Taps, and Post Commander Jim Welty tells KNIA News it was great to see the community come out in the hundreds to support the event and to honor those who have fallen in our nation’s armed forces.
