
The Twin Cedars Summer Sports Squads both lost in home games on Wednesday as the baseball Sabers fell to East Union 6-5 while softball fell to class 1A #2 ranked Martensdale-St. Mary’s 13-3. On the baseball diamond, the Sabers fell behind 3-0 before getting on the board in the 3rd. The Eagles would widen the gap to three in the 6th, but Twin Cedars would get another run back and then nearly complete the comeback with two in the bottom of the 7th. Saber pitching recorded seven strikeouts. The softball squad fell to 2nd ranked Martensdale-St. Mary’s 13-3. Both diamond squads host Mormon Trail tonight.
