A group of recent Pella High School graduates has had a reunion of sorts this spring, partnering to compete in an event that showcases their heritage in unique competition. Treyton Turnbull, Ryan Sales, Donovan Helle, Nic Stanley, and Kaiden Hol have formed The Clog Fathers for the 2025 Red Bull Soapbox competition in Des Moines this Saturday. Their vehicle is The Clog Cruiser, inspired by a wooden shoe, and the group has several other Dutch-themed portions of their presentation planned.
