
The Twin Cedars Softball fell on the road to Pekin 13-8 on Friday. The Sabers would jump out to a 7-4 lead going into the bottom of the 4th but a couple hit batters and a walk led to a grand slam to put the Panthers up 8-7. Twin Cedars would leave the bases loaded in the 6th while the Panthers got needed insurance runs. Twin Cedars was led by Cristen Durian going 3/5 with three RBI. Khole French took the loss going three innings, while Ami Mockenhaupt pitched the final three innings. The Sabers return to action on Tuesday at home against Moulton-Udell.
