Historical markers will be placed at Lake Ahquabi this Saturday through a project by the General Joseph Warren Questers. Deb Taylor with the General Joseph Warren Questers tells KNIA News the beach house at Lake Ahquabi had been put on the National Register of Historic Places, yet no signage had been put up. Taylor also said they are hosting an unveiling of the markers this Saturday at 10am at Lake Ahquabi with the public invited, and the historic markers are available through grants from the Pomeroy Foundation and their National Historic Registry Program.
