Newton Main Street hosts their first Farmer’s Market of the year today, and it’s being held at the market’s new location. Newton Main Street Executive Director Erin Yeager says the switch from the northside of Newton’s downtown square, to the Legacy Plaza Greenspace, has many advantages.

“In the greenspace over here at Legacy Plaza we have ample parking spots as well as room to grow. So we will be doing the Farmer’s Market up to September 30th. Then on the third Tuesday of each month we will have an extended market from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with live music from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with food trucks.’

Today’s Farmer’s Market in Newton is under the normal hours of 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. In addition to produce, the markets will feature arts, crafts, and informational booths. Newton Main Street Executive Director Erin Yeager talks more about the 2025 Newton Farmer’s Markets on today’s Let’s Talk Newton.
