The Knoxville Alumni Association is hosting a ribbon cutting for Ken Locke Stadium on Thursday, June 12th.

The event will also be hosted with the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce and is a way to celebrate the stadium and its future. The alumni association is currently fundraising to turn the property into a community space. The association officially closed on the property that was owned by the school district at the end of 2024. The ribbon cutting will be held at 4:30 pm and the stadium will also hold three concerts this summer as part of their summer concert series.
