The Pleasantville baseball and softball teams will travel to Ogden tonight for West Central Conference doubleheaders.

Both the baseball and softball teams had their games on Tuesday at Earlham cancelled due to weather. The #2 ranked Trojan baseball team is coming off a 3-1 win over #6 ranked Van Meter on Monday night. Pleasantville is now 6-0 on the season and tonight will take on the Bulldogs who competed against Coon Rapids-Bayard on Wednesday. The Trojan pitching staff has been dominant so far this year carrying a team ERA of 0.70 and have held opponents to a cumulative .101 batting average.

The Trojan softball team is 2-2 on the season and are coming off a loss to #1 ranked Van Meter on Monday night. Pleasantville will now take on the 6-2 Bulldogs who are coming off a 17-1 win over Coon Rapids-Bayard on Wednesday. Freshman Taylor Perkins is leading the team in hits so far this season with seven and batting average with .636 while Ella Clark leads the team in RBI with three. 

Tonight’s baseball doubleheader will start at 5:00 with softball starting at 5:30.
