A long-standing tradition in downtown Pella returns for the summer tonight. The annual Thursdays in Pella hosted by the Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance is back for eight events in June and July, starting this evening at 6:00. The first theme is Play Day, featuring several returning favorites, including the annual Bike Rodeo and safety check. Laser tag will also be held for the full two hours at the Pella Memorial Building. Several food vendors and activities booths will be back as well, including Leighton State Bank’s Bingo on the Tulip Toren. Every Thursdays in Pella event this summer concludes with a performance by the Pella City Band at 8 p.m. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio is broadcasting weekly from Thursdays in Pella.
