
A Pella High School student has earned a bid into a national rodeo event. Caitlyn Cronin was selected on the Iowa National High School rodeo team and will be traveling to Rock Springs, Wyoming in July for the 77th annual National High School Finals Rodeo. Cronin is competing in the Reined Cowhorse competition. The event July 13-19 features more than 1,800 contestants from 44 states, Canada, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand, and Guatemala. Contestants will be competing for $375,000 in college scholarships and the right to be called an NHSFR World Champion. A live broadcast of the event will be held at here.
