KNIA/KRLS Radio has opened an office in downtown Newton. In August of last year, M and H Broadcasting Incorporated, which owns both radio stations, added Newton and Jasper County news and Newton sports to their comprehensive coverage of Marion and Warren counties. Station Manager Trevor Castle says the Newton Office in the PJ’s Deli building will assist with news and sports coverage and provide space to address and meet client’s advertising needs.
“We are committed to the Newton community. We have been here since the middle of last August and we need a permanent space where our sales team can meet with clients to help record commercials and talk to them about helping to grow their business. And if you are in PJ’s Deli and see somebody in a red shirt sitting here working, stop in and say “hi”. We are looking to meet more people in the community and grow our presence here.”
The new KNIA/KRLS office is located in Suite 7 of the PJ’s Deli building, which is located on the southeast corner of the Newton Square.
