Knoxville Hospital & Clinics (KHC) is reinforcing its commitment to Pleasantville with the expansion and renovation of the Pleasantville Clinic.
Expansion will begin on June 24th and is expected to be completed in early 2026. During construction, the Pleasantville Clinic will only be open on Mondays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Brandi Booth, ARNP will see patients at the Knoxville Clinic location on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday until the project is completed in early 2026. Patients needing to schedule an appointment can continue to call (515) 848-3113.
Since taking over the clinic’s operations from Dr. Dennis Perryman in 2005, KHC has outgrown the current space due to the community’s support. The construction of a 1,740 square-foot addition will expand the existing 1,800 square-foot clinic to almost double its current space. The project will include the addition of two exam rooms, expanded workspace, a larger restroom, and new flooring and furnishings. The exterior facade will also be updated to provide a cohesive connection to the new addition.
Discussions to expand the Pleasantville Clinic began in 2017 when Peoples Bank donated the former downtown bank building to KHC. In recent years, a significant amount of bank space has not been usable for clinical operations. The expansion to the clinic will occur in the large portion of the bank building, while McKay Group has relocated their Pleasantville office to the former vacant bank space.
