A fundraiser kickstarted in April to purchase new uniforms for the Pella Marching Dutch is nearing its goal. The Pella Community Band Boosters, a non-profit organization supporting the Marching Dutch, is hosting the drive to raise $80,000 to support a new look for the powerhouse program. The design was unveiled during the spring concert and is meant to be more versatile for upcoming field shows, while maintaining a traditional look, according to Director of Bands Dameon Place. Place says the goal is to have the new uniforms ready for use by Tulip Time 2026. The band is nearing its goal and seeking support — and all direct donations to the Pella Community Band Boosters are tax-deductible. Find details on how to donate here.
