Both Melcher-Dallas Summer Squads had relatively easy wins over Moulton-Udell on Friday with the softball Saints winning 13-5 and the baseball Saints routing the Eagles 22-2. In the softball game, Ashlyn Metz went 2/3 with six RBI, four of those on one swing of the bat as she blasted a grand slam to highlight a nine run 3rd inning. Danni Enfield collected four hits. Brooklyn Bingham got the win going three innings. The baseball squad put together a 15 run third inning to power past Moulton-Udell and send fans home early. The Saints also benefited from Eagle errors. Colton Cox drove in five runs on a 3/4 night Tucker Branson also had a five RBI night while Austin Remster drove in four to help his own cause on the mound striking out five. Both Melcher-Dallas squads head to Moulton-Udell for games today.
