The Twin Cedars Baseball Squad put on an offensive show with 19 runs on 19 hits to blast Seymour on Friday 19-8. Braxton Davis went 4/5 with three RBI to lead the Sabers attack at the plate. Twin Cedars held an 11-8 lead going into the 7th inning, but an eight run top of the 7th put away any doubts. Brock Micetich got the win going 4 1/3 innings, allowing five runs on four hits and striking out five. Meanwhile the softball squad suffered a 10-2 loss to Seymour on Friday. One big inning coupled with some errors, saw the Warriors take control and end the game early. The Sabers would lead in the top of the 3rd with a double by Jayden Weldon and a triple by Khloe French. Cristen Durian also collected an RBI single in the inning. The Warriors would bat around and score five runs in the 3rd to take the lead for good. French took the loss pitching four innings. Twin Cedars heads to BGM today for a triangular with the host Bears and class 2A #9 East Marshall while baseball heads to Moulton-Udell.
