The Indianola Mayor’s Youth Council held the annual Bike Fest on the Simpson College campus on Saturday, teaching kids the importance of bike safety. The Indianola Police Department was on location performing helmet checks, with kids able to get their bikes tuned, learn how to cross a street safely, and earn prizes playing games. All funds donated through the celebrity trike races and free will donations were awarded to the Kiya Koda Humane Society.
