Hundreds lined Highway 65/69 on Saturday during the Indianola “No Kings” rally, part of a nationwide series of protests against the current administration and President Trump. Judy Philbrook with Indivisible Warren County, who organized the event, tells KNIA News there were a multitude of reasons that brought people out to the rally, but the main theme was government overreach and the breakdown of the democratic process.

“No Kings Day, it’s what Trump would like to be. He wants to rule by executive order, and we are here to hold not only him accountable but our Senators and Representatives accountable, because they are enabling him.”
