Hundreds of tractors participating in the WHO Great Iowa Tractor Ride will descend upon the City of Pella today. The Pella Police Department reminds residents that they should plan for traffic congestion and delays in the designated areas.The tractor ride will arrive near Vermeer, continuing to Pella Christian High School from 10:50 a.m. to 12:19 p.m. They will then leave Eagle Lane and head through downtown Pella beginning at 11:51 a.m. and should all be through Pella around 2:00 p.m. Those who are coming out to watch should pay attention to the moving traffic. Those who usually travel these roads at this time should consider using an alternate route.
