Indianola boys soccer senior Jacob Chickering was awarded the Mr. Iowa Soccer award from the Iowa Soccer Coaches Association as announced Tuesday.

Chickering helped control the midfield for the Indians, scoring 8 goals and earning 14 assists this past season, earning a 1st Team All-Conference selection and 1st Team All-State honor after helping lead Indianola to their second straight trip to the class 3A state tournament.

Over his high school career, Jacob collected three Varsity letters, three Little Hawkeye All-Academic awards, back-to-back 1st Team All-Conference selections (2023, 2025), and capped it all off with a 1st Team All-State honor in 2025.
