Simpson College football senior quarterback J Jensen III was named as the Male Record-Breaking Performer of the Year, while women’s basketball athlete Haley Rasmussen was named the Female Record-Breaking Performer of the year for the SC ESPYs as announced Monday.

Jensen set a program record for career passing touchdowns with 80, and posted the highest single-season completion percentage ever at Simpson with 66.1%.

Rasmussen set new single-season records for most three-pointers and highest three-point percentage across all NCAA divisions.

The SC ESPYs continue throughout the week, with Newcomers of the Year, Coach of the Year, Team of the Year, and Athletes of the Year yet to be named.
