
Both Twin Cedars Summer Sports Squads rolled to easy wins over Moulton-Udell on Monday night in a combined score of 43-5 with the baseball squad scoring 29 of those runs. Kaden Kloster went 3/3 and drove in five runs to pace the Sabers offensively. Also getting in on the multi RBI night was Holden Roberts with four, Gavin Clark with two, Brock Micetich with four and Robert Goemaat with three. Roberts got the win on the mound going three innings allowing just two hits. Meanwhile the softball squad took down the Eagles 14-1. Five runs fueled by a hit by Alli Reed and a two RBI double by Cristen Durian got things going early. The Sabers would slam the door shut in the 5th inning by scoring seven runs and a hit by Ashtyn Fee and another two RBI double by Durian, who was 3/4 with four total RBI. Khloe French got the win allowing four hits and striking out three. Baseball takes on Chariton tonight while softball welcomes North Mahaska in a double header.
