The Warren County Historical Society is hosting a presentation on the story of Taoyateduta (Chief Little Crow) next week, titled Cheap Lands & Broken Treaties hosted by Kent Halstead. Halstead tells KNIA News Chief Little Crow was shot in 1863 and buried in 1971, and will share the story of his life, imprisonment, and the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act of 1990. The free event will be next Tuesday, June 24th at 7pm at the Warren County Historical Society.
