
The Knoxville Baseball Squad came back from six runs down to outlast Newton on Panther Drive Tuesday 12-6. Knoxville was down 6-0 early on but came alive in the 3rd inning plating five runs to get to within one at 6-5, then took control from there scoring in the next three innings, despite three early errors. Luke Roozeboom, Lincoln Norris, and Roston McCarty all got two hits for the Panthers with McCarty driving in three runs. The Panthers used the game as a bullpen session with Jesson Ferguson going the longest 2 2/3 innings of work. Since a 1-5 start, the Panthers have gone 9-1 and stand at 10-6…a scheduled trip to Cardinal tonight.
