The Newton Farmer’s Market was open for an extra hour Tuesday and featured many special attractions. Among Tuesday’s festivities at the market was a parade of more than 50 tractors from the WHO Great Iowa Tractor Ride, an appearance by the KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio, and activities for kids. There was also live music from iNFUZion on the Green Space, as well as a variety of vendors and food trucks. Weather permitting, the Newton Farmer’s Market is held every Tuesday at the new Legacy Plaza Greenspace from June through September from 4-6 pm.
