The PCM baseball and softball teams each picked up wins Tuesday night.

The Mustang baseball team defeated Heart of Iowa Conference opponent Perry 11-2. Trenner Van Dyke pitched six innings for PCM, giving up four hits and one earned run while recording ten strikeouts. Jaden Houser had a big night at the plate going 3-3 with a stolen base while Kaleb DeVries went 2-4 with an RBI. Five other Mustangs had hits in the contest for a team total of ten. The PCM baseball team improves to 5-7 overall.

The #4 ranked PCM softball team defeated #9 East Marshall on the road 4-2. PCM was trailing 2-0 heading into the sixth inning but put up four runs in the sixth to secure the win. Camden Webb pitched six innings for the Mustangs giving up six hits and one run while picking up seven strikeouts. Webb also went 2-3 at the plate with a double while Tori Lindsay and Libby Winters had late doubles to tie the game at two. Hadley Millang then hit a two run blast to take the lead. The PCM softball team improves to 13-1 on the season.

The PCM baseball and softball teams will host Greene County tonight.
