The Pleasantville baseball team defeated Van Meter on the road Tuesday night as the softball team came up short in West Central Conference matchups.

The #2 ranked Trojan baseball team picked up the 6-2 win over the Bulldogs. Brayden Kennedy went the distance on the mound getting the win while allowing five hits and no earned runs and picked up nine strikeouts. Offensively Logan Roff went 3-4 at the plate with two doubles and two RBI and Braylon Bingham went 2-3 with three RBI. The Pleasantville baseball team improves to 16-0 on the season and will travel to Southeast Warren tonight.

The Trojan softball team fell in their contest to the Bulldogs 9-1. Pleasantville had five hits as a team and their one run came on a solo home run by Lillian Mason. The Trojan softball team falls to 8-6 on the season and will travel to Wayne tonight.
