Asher Brueck pitched seven shutout innings as the Indianola baseball team shut out Ames in a non-conference matchup played on the Simpson College campus on Wednesday, with the Indians winning 1-0. George Blake drove in the only run for the Indians, while Brueck struck out six, helped by a strong defensive effort. The Indians are now 17-3 on the season, and will host Dallas Center-Grimes in a doubleheader tomorrow.
