Last night’s Knoxville games at Cardinal were rained out which meant an unexpected night off for both Panther Summer Sports Squads. Both are in action tonight at different venues. Baseball heads a little over three hours to Dyersville to the Field of Dream Movie Site to play Pella Christian as the two Marion County rivals take their rivalry to the set of one of the most iconic sports movies ever filmed. Panthers Coach Turner Devore tells KNIA/KRLS Sports they are using this as a business trip, but also will not forget to enjoy the experience and take it all in. While the baseball squad is in Dyersville, the softball squad will hold down the fort on Panther Drive also against Pella Christian. Both teams come in struggling but Knoxville Coach Chris Peden says tonight is a chance to get some needed confidence before diving back into South Central Conference play on Friday.
