
The City of Lynnville is holding its 150th Celebration with special activities throughout the weekend, beginning with a freewill donation BBQ hosted by the Lynnville Fire Department from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. tonight at Old Settlers Park. Music will also be provided by the Adult Jazz Band from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Dueling Pianos sponsored by 1st State Bank from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday’s events include a Classic Car Show from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the Lynnville Saddle Club across from Old Settler’s Park will host a Fun Show at 10 a.m., which is also when a vendor, craft, and quilt show begins at Lynnville Friends Church FCC building. Inflatables will be set up by Lynnville Friends Church starting at 10 a.m., while horse drawn trolley rides around downtown will be available from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. Lynnville’s 150th Anniversary Parade down East Street starts at 2 p.m. Saturday night live music sponsored by Lynnville Telephone at Diamond Trail Golf Course will include Paul Davis at 5:30 p.m. and The Nadas at 8 p.m. A fireworks show sponsored by Co-Line ends Saturday’s events at 9:30 p.m.
Lynnville’s 150th Celebration concludes Sunday morning with a combined church service at 9:30 a.m. at Old Settlers Park.
