A six run spurt by the Melcher-Dallas Baseball Squad in the 4th inning was all the Saints needed to smash Mormon Trail 11-1 and send fans home in the 6th inning. Melcher-Dallas took advantage of five errors by the other Saints and needed just four hits of its own to put away Mormon Trail. Austin Remster got the win going all six innings striking out nine. Despite out hitting Mormon Trail 9-7, the Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad fell to Mormon Trail 9-8 on Thursday. Eight combined errors, five by Melcher-Dallas did in the Saints. Hayden Branson and Brooklyn Bingham both collected two hits for Melcher-Dallas.
