The theme of week three of Thursdays in Pella was Minds in Motion. The event included several activities related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. This included both a LEGO and pie eating contest on the Tulip Toren. An electric pedal bike, Louie the Lightning Bug Mascot, the Bionic Dutch robotics team, Vermeer’s job buddies, and more were also held in Central Park. The evening concluded with the weekly Pella City Band performance at 8 p.m. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio is broadcasting weekly from Thursdays in Pella. Next week’s theme is Barnyard Bash — the annual Ag in the City event.
